Why Should I do it?
- Reason One!: The Advanced is the pre-requisite for our dive trip adventures. These incorporate: trips away, lots of fun, excitement and PADI Specialty qualifications.
- Reason Two!: You learn new skills that will help you - you do not repeat any Open Water ones such as mask removal.
- Reason Three!: No waiting! No exams!
What Is It?
Five different dives including Navigation & Deep. We can select from the following list for the remaining three: Boat*, Drift, Naturalist, Wreck*, Night, Buoyancy, Dry Suit*, Video, Multi-level, Photography*, Altitude* or Search & Recovery. (*Conditions apply).
Do We Get to Choose?
Yes, within reason. If the weather allows we will try and do what you choose.
When Should I Do It?
The best time is immediately after your PADI Open Water course finishes.
How Long Is It?
As little as two days.
When Is It?
We usually schedule one course per month - or we can organise one especially for you.
How much is it?
The course costs $340.00. If you commence it within two calendar months of completing your (NZSA) Open Water course, we will reduce the price by 10%. Price is exclusive of dive gear.
Do I Need Gear?
No. If you have done your Open Water with us in the last two months, we will provide the gear for two days at half price. We have torches in the shop if you want to do the optional night dive.
