This is a six day course usually conducted over three weekends. There is an excellent mix of theory and practical.
Leadership
The PADI Divemaster Course is the first level of PADI dive leadership and is a pre-requsite for the PADI Instructor Development Course.
Syllabus
The course includes theory, procedures and practice in:
- Leading divers on non-training dives
- Assisting an Instructor on training dives
- Physics
- Physiology
- Equipment
- Recreational Dive Planner
- Dive Skills and the environment
- Divemaster career options
- Personal dive skills
Pre-requisites
PADI Rescue course or another qualifying rating.
Cost
The PADI Divemaster course costs $700 including the Divemaster Crew Pack. Price does not include registration. Hire gear is exclusive.
Medical
You will require a Doctors medial clearance not less than one year old at the start of the course.
