Night
Why?
Satisfy your natural curiosity of the night time aquatic environment, observe nocturnal aquatic animals seldom seen during the day, closely approach many fish & other shy animals that are unapproachable by day, extend your diving opportunities throughout any of the 24hrs per day & see the "true" colours of an underwater environment using your dive light at close range. Learn how to:
- Develop your theoretical knowledge of night diving
- Increase your diving motor-skills ability, &
- Organise & safely conduct night dives.
What's involved?
Theory of Night diving, practice on land, 3 supervised open water dives in which to learn & practice your new knowledge & skills, including:
- How to properly use various dive lights & gauges at night
- How to navigate at night
- How to communicate with hand signals & dive lights while night diving, &
- How to maintain buddy contact at night.
What do I need to start?
You must be at least PADI Junior Open Water Diver qualified or equivalent (just ask us!).
What's it cost?
$295, including SCUBA cylinder hire & certification as a PADI Night Diver.
