A couple of years ago I hurt my leg badly and couldn’t work. I decided to attend some non-diving courses to keep me sane while I got well. In my search for information I went to NZ Sea Adventures. I was on crutches at the time, and the nitrox course seemed a good place to start.
I was welcomed with a smile and a coffee and knew I had gone to the right place.
Since then many dive sites and opportunities have opened up to me. Looking back, I am amazed at what we have done.
I was never pushed or prodded, but always guided (sometimes nursed) by Tony, Peter, and Simon in an absolutely professional and friendly manner.
All the technical course’s are conducted so you are not only safe but enjoy the experience. The theory is easy to understand and the training is thorough. My Instructors were always keen to answer my many questions.
My journey has taken me to OC Trimix, CCR trimix, and more recently Divemaster. I have followed Tony to exotic places and have dived historic wrecks in places like Truk Lagoon and Scapa Flow – on both open circuit and my new rebreather.
I cannot overstate the benefit of a good instructor, mentor and friends the caliber of Tony, Peter and Simon.
My advice is just call in for a coffee, you may end up anywhere.
