Here at NZ Sea Adventures we have a team of experienced first aid instructors who believe first aid training should be easy, fun and most importantly effective. Our First Aid Training programmes cover:

    Basic CPR Skills
    Basic Life Support Care
    Foreign Body Airway Obstruction/Choking
    First Aid Assessment
    Caring for Serious Injury – Bleeding, Shock Management, Fractures, Soft-tissue injuries, and Wounds
    Caring for Sudden Illness – Stroke, Diabetic Emergencies, Seizures, Breathing Difficulties and Asthma, Severe      Allergic Reaction, Chest Pain

Medic First Aid

We use the Medic First Aid programme for our first aid Workplace training. It is an internationally based program adapted to New Zealand regulatory requirements for Core health First Aid training.

To make the learning experience as convenient as possible you use the innovative on-line course to cover all the knowledge development topics at your own pace. Once you have finished this you book on to one of our practical sessions to complete your certificate.

NZ Sea Adventures is an approved point of sale for Medic First Aid training.
At NZ Sea Adventures, delivery of all MFA courses is conducted by MFA approved Facilitators.

Emergency First Response

To provide an excellent First Aid programme for our divers, we offer Emergency First Response. While this programme is not yet approved for the New Zealand Workplace, it is approved for the following diver courses: Rescue, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Instructor.

At NZ Sea Adventures,  EFR courses are conducted by EFR approved Instructors.
This course can be completed partially or completely on-site.

Emergency Oxygen Provider

This programme is suitable for the provision of oxygen in diving accidents. The course focuses on the circulatory and respiratory systems. The use of AEDs is integrated into the treatment process.

Automated External Defibrillator

We teach the use of AEDs and combine that with the use of oxygen. This programme is suitable for the use of an AED under most circumstances but particularly diving and accidents.
