Description

The TDI KISS Air Diluent CCR course is your first step into manually controlled closed circuit rebreather diving and your first truly quiet diving experience. This course covers all KISS CCR models.

Why take the TDI KISS Air Diluent CCR Course?

This course covers all KISS CCR’s. Using the latest in technology CCR’s maximize your gas supply of Nitrox and provide the optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen (PPO2).

What’s involved in the course?

During the dives (minimum of seven) your TDI Instructor will teach you all the necessary skills to conduct CCR dives to a maximum depth of 30m. The skills include setup and maintenance of the unit, loop volume management, O2 sensor calibration, emergency procedures, buoyancy control, CNS tracking, KISS valve maintenance, and automatic diluent valve (ADV) use.  Also included in the course are preparation and pre-dive check lists. During the course you will do 60 minutes in confined water and 7 dives (420 minutes), in the open water to a maximum depth of 30 metres.

Who can take the KISS Air Diluent course?

To take this course you must have a Nitrox certification, have 20 or more logged dives and be at least 18 years old.

This course can run any time on request.

Where does the course run?

At our Dive Centre in Mana near Porirua, Wellington and at a selection of local dive sites.
