Why take the PADI Digital Underwater Photography course?
Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and the rise of digital underwater photography has made it easier and more fun than ever. This is why there are actually two PADI underwater photography courses. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with todays modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros.
What’s involved in the course?
We will teach you how to choose the right underwater camera system for you, the PADI SEA method for getting great shots quickly and the three primary principles for good underwater photos. After the dives we run through editing and storing photos as well.
Who can take the course?
To take this course you must be at least 10 years old. We can run the course either snorkelling or diving so you don’t even need to be a certified diver. Because all cameras are different you need your own camera to take this course.
When does the course run?
All our specialties run regularly year round. Our training staff can work out an individual schedule for the specialty courses that interest you.
Where does the course run?
For the dives we head to one of the many local dive sites, or this is a great specialty to pair with one of our dive trips.
How do I sign up?
Register easily online, in store, by phone or email. Remember to let us know when you would like to do the course.
