- Knowledge Development is a combination of both online and classroom theory.
- The Practical Sections start in our on-site pool in your new Everdry Drysuit.
- Enjoy 5 Open Water Dives practicing skills learnt in the pool and exploring the underwater world.
How to Start
First you need to make sure you are Medically Fit to scuba dive (Check the RSTC Medical Statement for details). Then we find the right size drysuit for you and help you get started with the online study for the Open Water Diver course and Drysuit Specialty Diver Manual. There is a Deposit required at this point and we look at what dates suit you for the practical section (normally 4 days are needed; possibly 2 weekends and/or week days).
What else you need to know
Allow about 12 hours for the Open Water Diver online study and maybe an hour or two for the Drysuit study.
SCUBA Gear Hire and Mask, Snorkel etc. is included. You are welcome to purchase your own from our dive store.
Upon completion you will become a certified PADI Open Water Diver (safe diving techniques to a maximum of 18m) and also a PADI Drysuit Specialty diver (Drysuit care, maintenance requirements, drysuit diving skills and techniques).
