Scuba Dive Course – Core Courses
When looking to do a Scuba Dive Course – Core Courses, your PADI Open Water Diver course is all you need to scuba dive on your own with another certified PADI Open Water Diver and above. Divers always dive to the least certified divers abilities so that no diver exceeds their certification limits.
The Course “PADI Open Water Diver” however covers skills for diving to 18m and is mostly focusing on responding to any personal issues while diving and safe diving procedures is reasonably ideal conditions.
The Scuba Dive Course “PADI Advanced Open Water” covers more dive management skills and introductions to a variety of skills that are applicable in most diving situations (being of course that we’re all versed on and following safe diving standards learnt in Open Water Diver then the emergency skills are rarely needed).
The Dive Course “PADI Rescue Diver” covers real life possibilities for assisting other divers. These give a greater awareness of what problems can and do happen and how to deal with them should the situation arise.
We call these three courses the “CORE COURSES” because they are the core aspect of Scuba Diving independently in good detail.
Similar to Advanced Open Water, most other dive courses explore specific area’s of diving i.e. Wreck Penetration Diving. There are also Divemaster, Instructor and Technical Diving courses. A lot of these require core course training as a prerequisite.
So get started on you journey through the Core PADI Courses and set yourself up for a lifetime of underwater adventure!
