Description
You can typically stay down longer when diving Enriched Air and get back in the water sooner. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty.
Why take the PADI Enriched Air Diver course?
This is PADI’s most popular Specialty Scuba Diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with Nitrox gives you more no-decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
What’s involved in the course?
During the course you will cover techniques for getting more dive time by using Enriched Air Nitrox, equipment considerations, managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what’s in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer during the PADI eLearning course. Then you can come in to our dive store at a time that suits to practice analysing cylinders, planning dives and to review safety aspects of enriched air.
Who can take the Enriched Air course?
To take this course you must have an Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification and be at least 12 years old.
When does the course run?
The course is mainly online in your own time with a short practical section with an Instructor.
Where does the course run?
The course is run regularly though our dive centre.
How do I sign up?
To sign up we need your details and course payment. We’ll order your PADI Enriched Air Diver eLearning and work out a time for your practical following the online course. Don’t forget to let us know when you would like to do the course.
